We believe in adopting an ethical, transparent and educated approach to our clients’ legal issues.
We are interested in furthering social justice. We are community focused, contributing pro bono to locally based community organisations. We provided free legal support and representation for people charged at anti-CSG blockades at Glenugie, Doubtful Creek and Bentley.
Some of our more notable pro bono work involved defending a significant number of people charged with offences at CSG blockades and protests. We also have worked with Lismore Women and Children’s Refuge; Nimbin Hemp Embassy; Nimbin Neighbourhood & Information Centre and Rafiki Mwema.
Although our main focus is always on achieving the best outcomes for our clients, we have a particular interest in cases that may present opportunities for law reform, particularly in the area of drug policy and policing.
